Oh wow. Another About Me page from a solo Prog Rock musician? How pretentious could I make this?

I am a dude from the Charlotte NC area that REALLY likes Rush. Like, no seriously. I like them a lot. I tend to write music kinda like theirs too. Not as good, but I like to think I can hear the influence. I really enjoy Hemispheres. That album is PEAK Rush. Tough songs with a lot of meaning behind them. I tend to listen to all sorts of different genres, bands, and projects though. I will list them below for sure. I think that will help the SEO stuff with the site.

I play a few instruments. The guitar 🤮, the Bass Guitar 🤓, and the Drums 😩. All of which I am not a totally amazing player, but seem to keep coming up with music that at the very least, I enjoy listening to. My primary of each instrument depend on the tuning. So for C, I use a 5 string Jazz bass that I customized to output similar to a Rickenbacker, and an Epiphone LP Special II. Super solid guitars that I LOVE to play. Anything in E or drop D is done on either a Jazz bass, or more importantly my Rickenbacker 4003. Which I love. That is seriously my favorite guitar. For E and a regular 6 string I use an Epiphone SG. Nothing too special with it besides the upgraded piezos.

The drums are a bit more complicated, as I do not have the space for a traditional kit. I DO use an electronic kit. It is a Simmons SD600 with the added cymbal and tom. Bringing me to 4 toms, a snare, one kick, hihats, 2 cymbals, and a ride. Solid setup for what I can fit in my studio. I run that into Logic Pro and have a few kits that I like to use. Namely the Neil Peart Native Instruments kit, the One Kit Wonder: Aggressive Rock from GetGood Drums. I do play around with BFD3 and their offerings of Neil Pearts kit, but I am not quite sure where it all fits in yet. As of now, I use the kick and snare from the GGD kit, and everything else from Neils kit.

Well what do I do now? Go to sleep? Pull the pud? We need new pornos?!
