{"id":52,"date":"2024-05-31T18:46:13","date_gmt":"2024-05-31T18:46:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fallokoch.com\/?p=52"},"modified":"2024-05-31T18:46:25","modified_gmt":"2024-05-31T18:46:25","slug":"never-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fallokoch.com\/index.php\/2024\/05\/31\/never-content\/","title":{"rendered":"Never Content"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Writing and thoughts on it all?<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am currently working on album number 2, known to me so far as &#8220;Never Content.&#8221; I chose that name for the sole reason that once I had wrapped up &#8220;Torture and Bliss&#8221; and shipped it to be distributed, I had the sudden and unexpected urge to do it all over again. Considering the torture I had post-writing during &#8220;Torture and Bliss&#8221;, I had decided to opt for not choosing a deadline on this. I AM just one guy doing it all. Might as well take my time and not rush the process. Considering I am currently working on vocals and mixing the album, I would say a little over a year to get another full length album together is not doing too bad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Tone and scope?<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Torture and Bliss&#8221; was all about perspective? Yes. It was totally about perspective, and how we seemingly don&#8217;t take others perspectives into our own thoughts and actions. I was pretty sure the last song on that album <em>PRETTY CLEARLY <\/em>spelled that out. So this new one? It has a concept too right? Unfortunately, yes it does. Been going through some crap since the release of &#8220;Torture and Bliss&#8221; and the only real constructive avenue for release was music, so it&#8217;s not a happy concept. You know that feeling? You know the one. When you realize a decade has just flown by? Maybe just the sorrow from what you missed, maybe just the realization that you weren&#8217;t paying attention the whole time? That is what this album is about. How about the feeling that even though there are plenty of people around you, that you are still TRULY alone? No matter how close to another person you are, you are still alone at the end of the ride? The memories you have, will wither away at then end of that ride, and all the time you spent really cultivating your surroundings will fall away into nothing? THAT is what the album is about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Lyrichemy<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A word I came up with, one that describes a feeling I could not find another term for. At-least not one that fully encapsulated the feeling. <br><br>When a songs meaning changes based on your view\/experience.<br><br>That&#8217;s a big one for me. It ties back to perspective for sure. Feeling like it all comes full circle somehow?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Where to go now?<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have no idea. Honestly I just wanted to write this all down somewhere better than a notes app where it would be lost and forgotten until I decide to go through and try to piece things together. Somewhere more public, where people might see it. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Writing and thoughts on it all?
